{A & A} Engagement Session

Aaron and Ariana are one of those couples that were destined to be together the moment they met. Speaking of how they met... it was Vegas, who wold have ever guessed?! Ariana is one of my best friends. We went to the University of Arizona together (go WILDCATS!). We had such a fun shoot out in AZ, back to my college roots.

{Baby Olivia}

Little Olivia was just 3 days old when I did this shoot a couple of weeks ago. After taking her sweet time Olivia finally joined the rest of the world (a week late) and graced us with her presence on LABOR DAY (what a coincidence)! Her mom and dad are dear friends of mine and they are so blessed to have such a beautiful healthy little girl. Congrats again Steve and Carie!

{Remembering 9-11}

It seems like just yesterday that I was sitting at my desk in my first photography class at Villa Park High School.  I was a 17 year old junior, needless to say I was young and innocent and unaware of the tragedy that was possible in our world.  That morning in class was something that I will never forget.  It was solemn, quiet and still.  Everyone around me was mute with blank faces as we listened to the old radio my teacher had on that was bringing live news of the tragic events of that morning of 9-11.  As I sat and tried to process it all with confusion, fear and anxiety in the back of my mind I just prayed for those who lost their lives and for their families. I am proud of our country and I feel blessed to call myself an American.  Today is a day that we should all remember those who died and thank those you who serve and protect us!

Oh my word I am so sorry it has been an entire month since my last blog.  Life has just been crazy! I have been making many business decisions and rearranging some things for the better.  I am going full time with photography and I have a few other art related things up my sleeve (stay tuned)!  There will be plenty more wedding, baby and fun fams blogging coming your way this month!  For now take a look at my amazing friend who I like to call "Mr. Lee T"  He needed a few new head shots so we gave it a go.  

 

{Baby Jack}

What can I say about little Jack... besides the fact that he might be the cutest baby EVER!  Jack was such a pleasure to photograph.  Not only is he absolutely adorable at the sweet little age of only three weeks but he is a lively alert little guy!  In over 4 hours the little man never once caught any zzzzz's!! He has got a mind of his own and something tells me he is going to take after his dad, Ryan.  Although we weren't able to get any sleeping baby shots we certainly captured this heartbreaker at his best.  Thanks so much to Shauna and Ryan for coming all the down from San Luis Obispo for the shoot!  Love you guys and I can't wait to see Jack grow up over the years!
