{An Amazing Wedding}

So where do I begin? This wasn't your typical wedding as you can probably see. However, it was one of the most special weddings I have ever had the opportunity of photographing. The couple here has been together for quite sometime and they decided to get married with the help of a local church ministry. This couple lives in their trailer in Orange. They had all of their close friends attend their wedding. The park they got married in was packed with over 50 homeless friends, all there to support their friends on their special day. Since the wedding was around Halloween they came up with the brilliant idea of a Halloween themed wedding. The talented bride made almost all of the costumes. The bridal party and most of the guests dressed up! Amongst all of the people there I was able to chat with a few in particular and really get to know them and a bit about their life thus far. They were all so sweet and had the most interesting life stories to share with me. After the wedding I hung around and caught up with two of my new friends, "Tattoo" and "The Joker". They made me laugh harder than I have in awhile. Those guys sure know how to tell a good story and a couple of jokes. I will never forget how fun this day was and I plan to return soon and hang out with my new buddies, maybe over some coffee, del taco and few more good stories! :)

{Style Shoot}

My good friend, Emily James, is an amazing stylist and is headed down the road to success! We had a great shoot a couple of weeks ago to build her portfolio. It is crazy how it never rains in So Cal and of course on the day of our shoot it was pouring all morning. I was brainstorming back up ideas and possibly shooting in the studio but that was going to alter our soft vintage look we were going for. Praise God, as we got off our exit the clouds were parting and sunlight was literally breaking through the clouds and the lighting was perfect!! Every photog's dream. Big thanks to Emily James for styling and Nicole Lockshaw for modeling.

Castle Anyone?

So I don't know if many of you know who Nathan Fillion is but he just happens to be on one of my fav new shows, ABC's Castle! Any-who I was assisting and helping with production on a shoot with the talented photog and my dear friend, Joan Allen. We did a shoot for Nathan and it was so fun, he is the nicest guy and our crew was a blast. Just thought I'd throw up a few pics for you all :)

{Mr. & Mrs. Bolotin}

Jake and Rachel were the sweetest couple! They are so young and in love and I LOVE it! Rachel put her wedding together fabulously. She planned everything down to the T all by herself. They got married in Central Park, Huntington Beach by Breakfast in the Park. It was a beautiful ceremony and fun reception filled with fun old school vintage games, croquet and bad mitten! I know Jake and Rachel will have a future filled with love and laughter and wish them nothing but luck and blessings!
